someone

have you ever lost someone so close to you?  someone you lived with for almost 5 years?  someone you talked with everything about?  someone you asked about everything?  someone you knew everything about? who knew everything about you?  someone who you sang with?  who was your biggest fan?  someone that comforted you just by giving you 'that look' with their eyes?  someone who would do anything for you?  that you would do anything for?  someone you were excitedly building a life with?  someone who you thought you couldn't live without?  someone who you had a hard time having fun if they weren't around?  someone that was your dance partner?  someone that would put your socks on for you when it was hard for you to bend over?  someone that would weigh and measure your food to keep you on track with weight watchers?  someone who would sit right next to you while you were singing at your sister's wedding to calm your nerves?  someone whose child you are carrying?  someone that would put their hand on your belly every chance they got to try to feel their daughter squirm in your womb?  someone that would say "there's my girls, i love my girls"?  someone that you snuggled with on the couch every night?  someone you couldn't run the simplest errand without being together?  someone that called you every morning at 7:03 when you were on your way to work and he was on his way home? someone that would give you two good-bye kisses each time you parted?  someone you could live with and never shut the bathroom door?

I know that my mom has, and that there are many others -

if you have someone like this, make sure they know how you feel and vice versa - we definitely did, and i am so very thankful for that...  if you are with someone and you don't feel like this, take a reflective look at your life and your purpose, do they fit with your purpose in life?  make some changes, you decide what those changes need to be.

ok, ok - i've had enough tears for the night...

faith - it does not makes things easy, it makes things possible. (Luke 1:37)

  1. My heart aches for you everyday as I also try to make some sense of this :-( You guys truly did have a genuine, wonderful love that I think most people only long for, and it will continue on through your daughter. Can't wait to see you next week.

  2. It is hard, but it isn't our place to try to make sense of it... that only leads to darkness.
