durian fruit?

three months ago, january 6, 2012...
we are planning on going to buffalo city one night of the weekend, either tonight or tomorrow night - we would rather go tonight instead of tomorrow night, and since one of joe's friends he really wants to see doesn't have to work tonight, we are going tonight.  i am about 4.5 months pregnant, still a little confusing if i'm pregnant or fat, so i am going to wear an outfit that makes it obvious i am pregnant - my "we love green bay" shirt and some green maternity pants.  we are going to end up going to the drift inn, cochrane inn, buffalo city resort, and the cove... possibly even bays end.  all of joe's favorite places for the last big night out.  we will see a lot of friends, sing a lot of karaoke, and do some dancing.  we will spend the night at joe's parents' house.

Here we are again, in the 'game room' of the Rustic Mill, that has since burned down.  We were getting our hopes up to be able to sing some karaoke on our wedding night - how flippin' perfect would that have been!  Oh well, it was still perfect without it.  Looking at that handsome smile of his and his arm around me brings tears to my eyes... wow, do I miss him.  these action shot pictures are harder to look at and bring back more memories and more tears than the posed shots... these ones have much more meaning.  lu&muJoe

The message from Jesus I wish to share with you today comes from the Gospel of Mark, 8:34b-38...
"If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.  If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it.  But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.  And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?  Is anything worth more tan your soul?  If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

Baby's now the size of a durian fruit!
Baby can recognize and react to simple songs...time to start practicing your lullabies! In fact, baby will recognize frequently sung tunes after birth and probably find them soothing. Less cute news: She now urinates about one pint per day. Get the diapers ready!
